Laurel and Lizzie invite you for an inspiring weekend of creativity and community by the beautiful Norfolk coast. Focus on Art or Music during the day, then come together for cosy evenings of craft, conversation and song.

Taking the same creative inspirations Laurel and Lizzie are using for their project, Travelling with Thomas, we will work towards an informal exhibition and performance on Sunday.

Laurel will lead musical workshops based on traditional folk tunes, developing performance pieces in small groups, with a narrative theme. Players of all instruments and experience are welcome.

Lizzie will teach lino cutting, a simple and highly rewarding technique to create your own beautiful, original prints to take home. Suitable for complete beginners, yet open to experienced artists.

Hosted by Laurel Swift, with many years experience running workshop retreats, this is the perfect start to the new year. Treat yourself with inspiring classes, tasty home-cooked food, seaside walks and relaxed musical evenings.

Be inspired, develop your skills, learn a new craft, and socialise with new friends while listening to tunes by the fireside. It’s what winter weekends were made for.

There are plenty of local B&Bs for those who don’t fancy dormitories, to be arranged at your own expense.

Dormitory accomodation is mostly bunk-beds, in

single-sex rooms. 4x3 and 6x4 bedded rooms. Some rooms have  en-suite facilities. All bed linen is provided.
