Monday Nights - 7:15-9:15pm - Upstairs at West London TUC, Acton

Laurel Swift founded this class in 2000, and it goes from strength to strength, often playing concerts or ceilidhs as the West London Folk Band.

Every week Laurel teaches a new tune, the group plays through previously learnt tunes, improves their musicianship, and generally enjoys playing music together.  The class is held Upstairs at the  The West London Trade Union Club, High Street, Acton, London, W3 6ND every Monday night term-time 7:15-9:15pm. £8 per week.

Bedroom musicians, beginner musicians, starting-again musicians, younger musicians, late bloomers, musicians that think they can only read the dots, musicians who worry that they can’t read the dots – you are all welcome.

The WLTUC is at 33-35 High Street, Acton, London, W3 6ND, opposite the old cinema building. It's 5 mins walk from Acton Central Overground, and on lots of bus routes including 207, 427 and 607, plenty of on street parking.

Laurel wrote this tune for the group to play at Ealing Country Dance club. The caller, Patricia, had a good dance but no tune to match it!
