6:30-7:30pm - Intermediate
Easy tunes & what to do with them
For those new to playing by ear, or comfortable playing by ear and new to variations and stylistic details. There will be plenty of repetition for those who find the tunes harder, paired with lots of opportunity to try out style points, accompaniment, harmony!
8:00-9:00pm - Advanced
Harder tunes & what to do with them!
For those confident learning by ear and keen to focus on style! For intermediate players who want more challenging tunes and advanced players who want to develop their skills and style. Plenty of repetition for those who find the tunes harder, and lots of opportunity to try out style points for those who find them easier!
The workshops are hosted on zoom. To join the class, you need the zoom app on a computer or tablet. Zoom is free and you don't need a subscription.
You are welcome to come for a one-off taster at any point during the series - each week we learn a new tune and play through tunes learnt in the previous sessions of the series.
